Air Jordan Rare Air “Olympic”:sneakersway.com

USA Basketball coming together once again for the upcoming FIBA World Championships so it’s quite normal if you’ve got that patriotic ‘U.S.A.!’ thing going on. The Jordan Rare Air – JB’s newest hybrid – was introduced in an Olympic colorway but the timing could be questioned. An Olympic release in a non-Olympic year? The Jordan Rare Air is Jordan Brand’s newest fusion creation that combines some of the most popular models to make for one tripped out sneaker. The Rare Air borrows the midsole of the Air Jordan 4 & 6, the heel and toe of the Air Jordan 3, and the tongue of the Air Jordan 5.

Even though the Olympics don’t start up again until 2012, this Olympic inspired style just became available. The silhouette is draped in fresh White leather with Red, Blue, Green, Black and Yellow accents on the midsole. Elephant print is found on the toe and heel while the lining is covered in Red and hints of multicolored designs are scattered throughout the shoe.
