Air Jordan 7 -For the Love of the Game

Air Jordan VII (7) Retro Olympic “For the Love of the Game”

Aug. 13th, the Air Jordan 7 “For the Love of the Game” will stock Jordan Brand store shelves nation wide. The AJ7 is one of the many sneakers releasing to coincide with the World Basketball Festival and marks the second time the Olympic version of the shoe has been re-released.
As for this Air Jordan 7′s design cues, it obviously possesses the same color scheme and texture makeup seen on the iconic Air Jordan 7 “Olympic”. The only difference comes in the form of the “For the Love of the Game” logo which simply represents MJ’s love for the game of basketball.
Air Jordan 7 Olympic was originally released in the Summer of 1992 when Michael Jordan wore them playing basketball for team USA in the during the Olympics. They feature a white upper with metallic silver highlights, as well as red, blue, and gold accents. They feature small perforations throughout the upper which act as a breathing mechanism for the foot. Also, the back heel features the diamond shaped emblem we have come to familiarize with the Air Jordan 7 (VII) but instead of the usual “23″ on it, it features the number “9″, which was Jordan’s Olympic jersey number.
