New NIKE SB Dunk: Civil x Nike SB Dunk High-Jordan Shoes Onsale

Earlier this month Sneaker News showed you images of a Nike SB Dunk High that was designed by Civil of Rhode Island. Featuring a mix of subtle grey tones as well as contrasting materials on the upper, the Civil x Nike SB Dunk High spurns the loud colors usually found on Nike SB Dunks and goes for the concrete skate-shoe look, much like the Vans and Airwalks of the 90s. The previous images we showed you depicted the shoes with red fat SB laces, but the shoes itself do not come with a red set – but clearly the rouge color works well with this color-blocking.

Not a vivid color scheme but as you would notice the shoe itself wears an upper that is made up of more than one texture. This means that it does not only use leather for the outer construction but also utilizes suede, nubuck, and canvas. Half of the upper comes in beige suede/nubuck while the other half is of brown shade – nubuck ankle collar and canvas quarter panel. The Swoosh is gray leather, a perfect accent on the lateral. Along with the materials that make up the upper are black mesh tongue and black solid rubber sole.Taking the subtle route, Rhode Island skate-shop Civil is the latest group of creative minds to collaborate with Nike SB. This latest SB Dunk High features a great combination of canvas and suede on the upper, with a touch of leather on the Swoosh. White works on the laces, all while sitting on a black translucent outsole.
