The Air Jordan 9 has made quite an impression this year. Just this summer alone we have seen it in at least two colorways, with at least two more to come. With only two days to go until the White/Varsity Red-Black colorway hit the shelves, we felt it only right to give you a few more looks.
It’s a love-hate thing, getting to re-stock your wardrobe with fresh threads, only to wear those new digs during your fourth period History class or your Organic Chemistry lecture. August is starting off great because releasing tomorrow is the original colorway of Jordan’s first retirement shoe, the Air Jordan IX (9). Although this 2010 version uses the omnipresent Varsity Red rather than the original True Red, there won’t be much controversy due to the fact that the color plays such a small role in the colorway of the shoe.
This is obviously the original colorway of the Air Jordan 9, and it first surfaced on the scene in 1993. Since then, it has re-released in 2002 and again in 2008 (Air Jordan 9/14 CDP). Will you snag this classic retro or pass on its third re-release in the past 10 years? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
